The area of responsibility "DESY management committees" accompanies the meetings of the Directorate and the regular meetings of the division officers (deputy directors), as well as various scientific committees. In detail, it is responsible for:

Organization, preparation and follow-up incl. minutes and records management of the following meetings:

• Board of Directors (incl. quarterly finance and strategy retreats)
• Meeting of deputy directors (incl. moderation)
• Scientific Council Meeting as a statutory body of DESY

In addition, the following (internal and external) committee meetings are also hosted by DIB:

• Scientific Committee (WA)
• Science Committee (PSC)
• Physics Research Committee (PRC)
• Machine Advisory Committee (MAC)
• Astroparticle Physics Committee (APC, managed by site in Zeuthen)
• Office and lab space ressource board
